Nikitin Schevchenko IS-4 legal for FAC battle?

Is the Nikitin Schevchenko IS-4 legal for FAC WW II battle?  Someone gave me these planes as a gift and the article talks about WW II battle wins but I can not find anything that would make me believe that is ever saw combat in WW II

Have the rules about only plans that saw action changes in the last 25 years?

Thanks

Dave

Never saw action, the idea was too silly even for the hungriest OKB. But Fineman's airframe would be a nice start for a Scale model. (He doesn't show the polymorphic lower wing, does he?) Build it and have fun, what else counts?

Hi Guys...you might be interested to know that Lubomir Koutney built this bird to 1/20th scale with the polymorphic wing and says it is a great flyer.

I kind of knew it would not be legal but had to ask(hoping for a loop hole or some info I could not find)

The plane has killer proportions for a mass launch plane.  It is like a Chambermaid with a little longer wing and would have been hard to beat and an easy build to boot.

No lower wing on this plan just an outline of the retracted wing.

I think I will build this one some day but not being legal for WW II combat it is a few planes down the line.
